Answer a few questions then click the "find your candidate button" and the program selects the candidate who's position on the issues is most like your own... You may be surprised at what you find....... Click the link below....

My top 5 results:

Below are the candidates ranked by how much you agree with their stances:

Chris Dodd
Score: 54

Barack Obama
Score: 49

Hillary Clinton
Score: 49

Dennis Kucinich
Score: 46

Mike Gravel
Score: 41
Interesting. I'm actually a huge fan of Edwards, but according to this program his goals don't mesh so much with mine.
Well, my top nine candidates are Republican and then Obama at #10. Didn't see that coming, but I could care less. Unless someone steps up, I'm probably not gonna vote. I can't stand Republicans but this crop of Democrats...uh, they suck.

Judging from this, only one candidate shares my opinion of Iraq and it's fucking Tom Tancredo. Wow.
The problem with this is that many of those questions had more than one answer that appealed to me.
Tied for the top at 47: Hilary and Obama. I've scored highest on Hilary on several of these type of polls and yet, I still don't really like or especially trust her at all.
Okay, so I really, really shouldn't vote for Mike Huckabee. Got it.

I thought one question was strange -

Quote:
Immigration: What is your position on immigration in the United States?

~Build a fence along the border. I am opposed to granting legal status to illegal immigrants.

~Tighten security first, but I also believe we should provide a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants who are already here.

~I favor stiff fines for employers who hire illegal immigrants, a security fence along the border, and a denial of citizenship to children born here of parents who are in the U.S. illegally. I oppose any form of amnesty.

~I favor a guest worker program, while tightening border security.
Why is there no "come one, come all" option? I suppose it's because there's no candidate with that stance... All of these solutions are based in economics and grandfathering people in.

Apparently, I'm a Kucinich man. Thanks, WQAD!
I'm a Kucinich man too, shock of shocks. Miss Zooey, I agree. For that one, I clicked only "this issue is not important to me."
Your happy little thumbs-up icon works really well there, Matt.

Oh, and I'm a Kucinich woman, but that's only because there were no questions about his cheese policy. That is where he and I part ways, sir!

Yeah, I took the quiz with a grain of salt. Forced choice answers almost never represent how people really feel.
Rudy Giuliani 46

John Edwards 41

Ironic, since I'm a Democrat, and am leaning towards Obama (36) - don't know enough about Edwards, so it looks like I have some reading up to do.
I got Richardson and Edwards.

The thing is, on the immigration and Iraq questions, there were parts of each answer I would have liked to have combined into one. Like with the immigration, I want to tighten security but I don't want a fence and I'm not sure how I feel about amnesty. Which answer is for me?
I got Rudy and Hillary. Now there's a combo for ya! I agree with posters above, I liked more than one solution for a few questions and for others I though the answers were too limited.
My top 2 are Kucinich and Bill Richardson.

But Bill Richardson apparentally disagrees with my stances on the Line-Item Veto and Enegry, so Bill Richardson can go to hell.
I pasted a picture of Al Gore to my monitor.

My wife's a big Kucinich fan, and he was up there for me on the results. Still am interested in seeing Clinton grab the nod, tho.
Kucinich man here... but that's been known by me for a while. I liked him last time, too.
HA! Sounds about right I guess.

No kidding... each email I get from him (I'm on some Al Gore mailing list) is a new experience in disappointment - "Is he running for - oh. He just wants me to host a 'Live Earth' house party. Bleh."
My #1 was McCain, but only at 36. I guess I'm my own man!

Kucinich Krew represent!
My #1 was a tie between Obama and Edwards which wasn't that much of a surprise.

But, I also had a bottom tie between McCain and Huckabee. That was kind of odd.

I didn't get the universal health care question. Does it mean a single payer, socialized medicine kind of deal? Or does it mean that the government provides coverage or helps to cover private insurance costs for those who can't afford to do so themselves (ie, everyone is covered)? Because I'm fully on board with the latter, not so much with the former.
I can't believe all you people scoring in the 50s on some candidates:

Giuliani: 25
Brownback: 22
Romney: 20
Dodd: 20
Hunter: 19
Paul & Gilmore: 18
Kucinich, Obama, Clinton, Tancredo: 17
McCain: 16
Biden: 15

Yeah, but it's real close... I think the low scores for all the candidates are pretty indicative of how I feel right now. As someone who considers himself just to the right of center, it's hard to get that passionate about candidates at the "pander to the party base" stage of the election.
My scores are extremely low, I guess I'm just too lefty.

Chris Dodd: 11
Barack Obama: 10
Hillary Clinton: 10
Dennis Kucinich: 9
John Edwards: 8
My top 5:

Kucinich - 9
John Edwards - 9
Chris Dodd - 9
Hillary Clinton - 8
Bill Richardson - 8

And I'm with Dickson on the Immigration question.

Sounds like we're in the same boat. My highest score for anyone was 29 for Rudy, even though he and I vehemently disagree on quite a few items. I think this "test" mostly shows how those of us who consider ourselves centrists or moderates really don't have a candidate.
top 3
Joe Biden: 43
Chris Dodd: 39
Barack Obama: 38

I guess I'm a just a Democratic hack. However, I am glad that I scored a 1 with Fred Thompson. I can't stand that asshole.
Strange...
Dennis Kucinich: 36
Chris Dodd: 33
Ron Paul: 32

Guess none of the candidates are great matches for me. I'm rooting for Edwards, who was down in 6th place with 26, along with Hillary & Barack.
According to that survey, Fred Thompson is my man.
(because I'm not voting for Romney, who was higher)
Giuliani - 32
Edwards - 29
Richardson - 27
Clinton, Obama, Kucinich & Romney - 26.

Still happily centrist, but it looks like I've shifted from center-right to center-left over the years. At least the wife will be happy.
Looks like Dodds my main man...Who is that exactly?
I didn't really know either and he was my top match. Just yet another Senator candidate.
Dodd - 63(!)

Obama - 58

Clinton - 58

Kucinish - 53

Did all you guys with low scores not click 'very imortant' a lot? I'm trying to figure out how these scores are calculated.
I didn't click the importance box at all, maybe that was my problem.
Bill Richardson? Why Bill and me?
My top 5:

Dennis Kucinich
Score: 66

Chris Dodd
Score: 62

Mike Gravel
Score: 59

Barack Obama
Score: 55

Hillary Clinton
Score: 55

Crazy Mike Gravel at #3! Nice. I know I'll be settling for Hillary or Obama in the general election, but this list is really no surprise.
Kucinich, then Hilary and Obama.

I mixed mine about. Some important (healthcare!; leave the gays alone!), some not (immigration). I never picked "very important" for anything though.
Dodd and Kucinich tied for me at 53. Then Hillary, Obama, Edwards tied for me at 48. I filled out every importance box, I thought you had to?

I'm an Edwards guy, though honestly the more I've heard of/from Dodd, the more I've liked him. Shame he's not a real contender, I guess?
Funny, Kucinich mirrors my own political views most closely, but I wouldn't vote for him in the primary. Then again, Obama's pretty much got this state locked up.
