Interview at Warner Brothers

Thread Starter
I submitted a sample script a few months ago for a TV Comedy Writing Workshop at Warner Brothers. A couple of hours ago I got a call from them telling me I'm a semi-finalist and they want me to fly down to California next week for an interview.

For those who have done this sort of thing before: are there any tips, pointers..anything..that might be helpful during the interview? Hell, knowing what to wear would be a big help. Should I bring along another sample of something I've written since then?

Don't ask to meet the Warner Sister.

There's no one named Dot there and they look at you like a mongrel for asking the question.

How good are you at remembering a coffee order?

I don't have any great tips, except that I have seen all manners of clothing in film meetings. I did, however, want to congratulate you on getting he interview. Best of luck!

You can dance around the fountain from Friends (if you want to be punched in the balls) on the Ranch where some the CW offices are, and buy DVDs for way cheap at the Mill Store or Central Perk.

And driving a golf cart through through the new yorky backlot at night is freaky, like you're in some post apocalyptic city.

Show absolutely low intelligent decision making skills and a willingness to write whatever crap they tell you to without questions.
