Pay up!

Beaks is an amazing writer. He's carving legendary status here.

I honestly hope CHUD gets snubbed by Marvel for even running anything of that HULK script, I thought that was a bad bad call. I thought CHUD had a little higher moral fiber, then again looking at Devin's comments in http://chud.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104882 I can see how I was mistaken.

On a flip side, I hope Spielberg gives you an exclusive for this article.

Goddamn right.
We are living in some sort of neo-golden age here at Chud.

I really hope some site has the stupidity to run the images...for a few hours at least. I can't wait until November for some Indy images.

God bless these burglars, and may they protect their virgin buttholes whence they go to jail.

That's interesting that the studios are exploring legal options regarding screenplay reviews. I'm not sure they can really do anything if someone doesn't post the actual copyrighted material. I doubt very much a studio can prevent an unaffiliated person from posting a description of a script they read.

Sorry about that, Jeremy. I promised some friends I'd make copies for them, but then I'll return those pictures. I knew you'd understand.

You named yourself Stunt Poop?

Updated. TMZ might've tried to "obtain" (i.e. pay for) the stolen material. The full production budget may have been included. This is turning into a real story.

I can't believe TMZ would be that stupid.

Well, actually, yes I can. But I would shed no tears seeing that horrible place vanish forever.

This is all so interesting, and yes, Beaks is great. I'm fairly interested in seeing the Indy IV movie at this point (I'm sure I'll get more excited as it draws nearer, which is usually the case) but all this behind the scenes drama and insanity is intriguing... Wow...

Byt the time this is all done we could probably get a hardboiled noir film adapted from the "making of" story. Mysterious shenannigans, lies and deception, blood and guts, lust and more lies, and maybe a shady megalomaniac or two...

TMZ Again we see there is nothing you can possess which Paramount cannot take away.

CHUD conducts itself more ethically than any other movie site out there (Beaks bribes aside) ... sometimes at the expense of not getting the "big scoop". And you have to disassociate MB Devin from main page Devin.

Seriously, I wouldn't question any CHUD staffers integrity just because they ran news that already leaked and could be found everywhere else. This is the only site that even recognizes studio confidentiality and release date embargoes, and they do so in the name of professional courtesy and integrity.

I love that this guy was only asking for 2 grand. Way to aim high, dumbass.
I wonder who it was in the online press that helped Paramount bring the guy down. Someone we know, perhaps?
One thing's for sure -- we'll find out who it was.

I, for one, am hoping it was Beaks, and he's just being coy.

I have a copy of Treasure of the Four Crowns on videotape. One of those movies that they showed on USA when I was a kiddo and I loved. Grew up, got nostalgic, ordered it from eBay. And fast-forwarded though that shitstorm to try to get to the part that my mind somehow fashioned into greatness.

I regret my purchase.

This is why I have steadfastly refused to watch The Last Starfighter for the last 15+ years. I like to remember it the way it was, not the way it surely, surely is.

Actually, I watched The Last Starfighter (or TLS, as we Centaurites call it) in college as a break from heavier fare in a film class. Is it good good? No. But, it's not embarrassing either. It's popcorn fare with about as much merit as Transformers.

Anybody catch what the budget was?
You could“ve known for just about 2000 bucks.

I'm pretty conflicted now. On the one hand, I trust your judgement. On the other...I LOVED that movie as a tyke. Other than Return of the Jedi, it was probably my most-watched childhood movie. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

But if Grig rapes my childhood, I'm holding you responsible.

Eh, you can take it out on me at the next D.C. meetup. Which we really need to get around to.

Grammar!

The Last Starfighter is still good.

I have a bootleg DVD of Treasure of the Four Crowns. It's in 3D, and it stars Tony Anthony, who earned the leading role by investing in the 3D process.

Look at all the free publicity Indy 4 is going to get!

The production budget, according to TMZ TV (I couldn't help myself, I was watching at work!) was something like $192.7 million. They said that it didn't factor in Steven, George, or Harrison... although I assume that just meant their backend points.
