Looks pretty damn good, gotta love the Bladerunner and Warriors costumes.

This played at a local festival recently, and I think the word was pretty good. I couldn't make it that day, though, infortunately.

There's an interview in the new Fango and I think they said they shot it in around 10 days.

I caught this at the Sidewalk Film Festival, and it was great. Drags on a little bit in the middle, but it's got great production value and a humourous and intriguing story. I'd defintely recommend checking it out.

Friend of mine told me about this. I'll be keeping my eyes open for this one.

I'll have to check this out. I saw the trailer on the Severance DVD and thought it looked interesting. Glad to hear it's pretty good.

I saw this the other week during the Calgary International Film Festival (me and a friend had originally planned to see the Troma flick Poultrygeist.. but had our times wrong and missed it, which sucked because Lloyd Kaufman was there! Argh!) But the star of the movie was actually in house for this one too and did a Q&A after the flick, so that was pretty fun

Oh, and the movie was a blast. Also loved the Blade Runner/Warriors costumes, it's pretty darn funny at times (everything with the cat).. and has some decent gore to boot. I'll probably be picking up this dvd when it gets released up here

Looks pretty good! The premise of death as art has been done, and if you know any "artists" you know they'd never have it in them to do anything like this. But it makes for a better film than has been released in awhile.

Now if it was a bunch of online horror junkies getting together. . .it just might be believable.

I call this "Extreme Truth Or Dare". All the kids are doing it in Belarus.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. It's Napoleon Dynamite meets The Breakfast Club meets a horror film. Trust me, it's a lot better than it sounds.

It's the kind of film where:

1. A character stops to take a piss during a chase.

2. When a character gets shot, the blood pours out like a garden hose. They didn't skimp on the blood on this one.

The Making of on the DVD is pretty great as well. These guys grew up together in a small suburb and have been making movies together for over 20 years.

I would like to see their take on Beowulf, as well as their original films like Megacop, Macdeath, Bob, Ass Kickers, and Redneck S.W.A.T. Team.

Really looking forward to what these guys do next.

This was a semi-amusing little romp. Accurately captured the pretentious art circuit while splattering enough low-budget red stuff around to keep my attention. It does lag quite a bit in the middle, but worth the rental.
