Not quite how I pictured the big guy (Bigger head, less McFarlane-ish-ness) but Still kinda cool.

(Don't know if this has been posted before, a search for Cthulhu on these boards yields more results than I care to sift through)

Noggin splorting steamboat sold seperately.

Though I'm a Nyarlathotep guy, myself, this is pretty sweet.

Though, by the beer gut, you can figure out what Great Cthulhu was doing while he was supposedly "asleep".

(exiting Taco Mat with a wheelbarrow full of tacos) "Yes, this should provide adequate sustenance for the Doctor Who marathon."

Does he really have wings in Lovecraft's stories?

From The Call of Cthulhu

Something like this.

This guy did a pretty good Cthulu, which he later sold for $1200 US.

It shows as "0 bids".

Personally, this and the the figure from the start of this thread don't seem "alien" enough to me -- too much like something you'd find in the Monster Manual II. I prefer Stephen Hickman's statue.

My mistake. Confused "Buy It Now" with "Winning Bid."

Show mercy: I was playing the Cthulu game just before coming online and wasn't in the best state of mind.

Aaw, look at the cute, cuddly Cthulhu figure, he looks like he could just devour the entire world and herald the coming of the Old Ones. Simply adorable.

What I really want is an Azathoth.

If not, i'll just settle for a rendition of Yog-Sothtoth, since my little sister's bubble machine is masturbation for the real thing

Is Azathoth the blind mad demon sultan at the center of the universe? If so, sign me up.

Fuck off ya fuckin esquimau

If I remember correctly, Azathoth is not some blind old guy sultan but an entity that is described as a nuclear (as in a "nucleus) chaos, they call him mad as he lives within a chaotic realm. This realm contains his own self or "body" which is coterminous with time and space. Through fission, he had an offspring, Cxacxakluth. Nyarlothotep is his servant, and sometimes takes the form of his master, which is a massive swirling black mass able to cause insanity at the mere sight of it.

Whatever Lovecraft was smoking, I want some.

Oh and this is interesting but probably fake.

This thread reminds me of this speech:
Quote:
Gozer the Traveller - he will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii, the Traveller came as a large and moving Torb! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants, they chose a new form for him - that of a giant Sloar! Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day, I can tell you!

If anything, it may be that Adam Sandler is a Lovecraft fan and he was actually trying to tell us something in that gibberish in Billy Madison.

"Standing almost 16-inches tall at the wings" sounds pretty big.

Hey Sailors, I don't want to start a thread about this, so I'll pose it in this particular one... If I wanted to put figures I have collected into a glass display case, how would I get all the dust out of the joints and grooves? Is there an actual special method to avoid this or that?
Get you some natural paint brushes. They are soft enough that they wont damage the delicate paint job on some figures and will get the dust out of the cracks and crevices.
