Green Tea flavored toothpaste

After one brushing, I'm liking this. Moreso than the vanilla I last tried.

I don't get the demand for flavored toothpaste.

I've tried the cinnamon and the peppermint stuff that Colgate put out, but I just don't see how it would be appealing. Plus, the Cinnamon burned my gums.

It's like chewing gum, but not.

I liked aquafresh (which tasted better than the dessert I was scraping off my teeth) as a kid, but I'm more of a man's man when it comes to modern toothpaste. Give me as much medicine and silica as you can possibly fit on top of 500 bristles! Bleach? Yezzir!! Whitening chemicals commonly found in dry-cleaning? I'll have two!! Health is for healthstorians, I've got people to dazzle!!!!

Don't want to go walking around with teeth yellow as corn. I'm partial to Colgate's sparkling white mint zing myself.

Well, I just went out and got a little tube of the Green Tea stuff to try. I don't like it, but I don't hate it.

I could use it in a pinch, if I was traveling. It just makes me wonder whatever happened to just plain toothpaste.

I think you can still get that stuff, but for the most part everything is flavored. I liked the taste of green tea (over rice) and so I'm pleasantly surprised in how it's rolling around my mouth after a can of Diet Pepsi. It's noticeable but not intrusive.

I tried the vanilla once. Tasted like the hands of a mechanic. Don't ask.

How's that metrosexual mechanic working out for you?

Indeed, I hadn't heard of Green Tea over rice. I wonder if cooking the rice in the tea instead of water, ala' risotto would be good? Dre, here's the question I have, does your mouth feel squeeky clean, like a team of sandblasters just came through? Because that's what I demand of my toothpaste/listerine combo.

My dentists have told me I have a very clean mouth, so yes, but I tend to have that naturally. I didn't go to a dentist for four years, and upon my return was told that I (realistically) only need to come in once a year. Which makes me happy cause I hate going.

Who makes the green tea brand of toothpaste?

My favorite toothpaste in the world grosses everyone else out. It's this black-licorice flavored toothpaste that I get at Whole Foods or at any other healthfood store that might have it. It's really tasty, and it kills bad breath really well. It's made with ingredients from the Neemu tree, which is called "The toothcleaning tree" in India. It gets your choppers pretty white and sparkly, if I do say so.
