According to Tv Shows On DVD, Tales Of The Gold Monkey arrives on DVD in spring 2008. It is a fun adventure series, and the closest a tv series ever got to a good yet not successfull Indiana Jones clone. Tales of The Gold Monkey is a series produced by Donald P. Bellisario set in the late 30's featuring Stephen Collins as a pilot of a sea plane and also a former Flying Tiger. It was a fun show that unfortunately was cancelled due to its low ratings.

I remember this show. He had a cool dog named Jake. Jake was the man.

Might have to pick that up. Don't remember seeing Collins in anything after that.

Chris Wood, Stephen Collins played a minister on the series 7th Heaven for 11 years. The show just ended this year.

I've been waiting for this show for a long, long time. Thanks Duke Fleed.

When I was six years old I thought this was the coolest thing in the world.

I wouldn't like reality destroy this memory.

I refuse to believe that will happen, as I have exactly the same memories.

Well, I guess it's a paycheck.

Plus Roddy McDowell and that priest guy.
Great News, thanks Duke Fleed.
Not the greatest show ever, but good memories from childhood.
Here.

I don't remember a thing about this show, except it was really cool. Looks like "acting sensation" William Forsythe played a charater called "Kurt" on two episodes.

I seem to remember an episode where where Cutter lost Jack's glass eye playing poker? Or is that why Jack had to wear an eyepatch, all along?

I was so young, and I remember maybe in one of the first episodes there were some monkeys or apes at one point. I think as a kid I thought the whole show was about monkeys. Like Indiana Jones and the dangerous monkey adventures. I was always disappointed when the show was just a lot of people talking about "boring stuff".

The one thing I always remember about this show is the little dog sidekick had a glass eye which the main character kept losing in poker games.

What about the other Indiana Jones clone, "Bring'em Back Alive", starring Bruce Boxleitner?
