Anyone else notice that the one-stop-music-torrent site Oink is down pending "further investigation" from the IFPI and the BPI?
I'm hoping its just some.. hoax, perpetrated perhaps by a hacker or a disgruntled user, but this quote on the site has me a bit worried..
considering the IFPI represents the recording industry worldwide, here in Canada where the mp3 laws are/used to be a little bit more lax than say the US, for the first time since i started downloading mp3's i'm more than a little bit weirded out/worried.
thoughts? comments?
