Look, anyone who says male circumcision is genital mutilation is just out right nuts in my book.

Male circumcision is to female circumcision as getting your foreskin removed is to getting the head of your penis removed.

Female circumcision really is a terrible misnomer. It's also something I'd expect to find in that Things the Joker Finds Funny journal.

The opposition to male circumcision is truly fucking weird. It's just this chimeric mixture of zealots who think that anything unnatural is bad (the "take the whole baby home" crowd) and enemies of religion who attack it as an outmoded semitic religious ritual.

Now that their old arguments like it's traumatic for the child and reduces sensitivity are being debunked and the correlation between HIV resistance and the practice are getting stronger, they're still refusing to reconsider the issue. It has become a weirdly dogmatic opposition to what its opponents disparage as a useless byproduct of dogma.
