Praying for rain in Georgia

Man, I could've sworn we were in the 21st century.

Apparently not.

I think the funniest thing about this was when it was announced last week, all the local 10-day weather forecasts were predicting the possibility of rain this Tuesday/Wednesday. So naturally the Governor (THE GOVERNOR!) schedules the plea for rain for Tuesday morning.

Yes, I'm a bitter, cynical atheist. This is but one example of the many reasons why.

Oh, and it looks like the predicted rain is gonna skip us.

Is it possible that people praying for rain in other states could be stealing yours? Sounds like Maryland is more connected to the Big Guy. Maybe you're not sacrificing enough goats or chickens?
