I saw 'Phantom of the Opera' in Las Vegas

Begrudgingly.

It was great! Who knew? (Aside fromt the millions of fans.) And I think I saw the truncated Vegas version.

Poor Phantom. What a sad, sing-songy murderer with a beautiful heart. Certainly fell out of the ugly tree, hitting every branch on the way down - and then scraping his face against the exposed roots too, I guess.

Anyway, the music was great. Masquerade. I'll admit, I tapped my shoe to it.

Also, played the shit out of Mini Pai Gow. And some Limit Poker, where I beat some olds out of their hard-earned dimes. And then Craps ended my small bankroll.

Masquerade/Paper faces on parade!

Anyway, Webber. Nice.

Steven Weber, I mean.

Was the Phantom played by Peter Karrie? Please tell me the Phantom was played by Peter Karrie, and he snubbed your advances....

Limit poker is a great way to stretch a meager gambling budget, and get as many of those free drinks in as possible. And if you have even a rudimentary understanding of the game or simple statistics, you'll probably even make a buck or two.
