No matter what mood I'm in, what subgenres of music I'm exploring that particular week, what time it is, I can always throw on The Moldy Peaches and feel awesome. There's an incredible balance of innocence, immature humor, ultra lo-fi recording, catchy songs and hilarious (yet, oddly affecting) lyrics at play that gets me every time.

Agreed.
After seeing Juno last week, I haven't been able to stop listening to the old Peaches records and acquiring all of Kimya's solo stuff.
The music perfectly fit the tone of the film, and made me come home and assemble my own soundtrack of the songs.

She sold hand-drawn tshirts after her set when I saw Kimya play at the Echo Lounge a few years ago. I was happy to recognize her voice in the JUNO trailer.
