Exte: Hair Extensions

It's a Japanese Horror film about evil hair extensions which kill people, and it's one of the funniest fucking film I've seen this year.



Just an awesome piece of work with some really well done special effects and some nicely grisly scenes. But it really is more of a black comedy than an actual horror film, which is the only way to describe the main villain singing his own theme song and evil possessed hair at one point faxing itself to the main heroes home.

Sounds pretty cool. Is this out on Region 1 DVD or is it in limited release somewhere in the States?

I watched a clip from this movie on You Tube the other day. Very weird scene when that ladies hair lifts her off the floor, reminds me a little of "Uzumaki". Heres hope that it gets a DVD release Stateside (Tartan, or Media Blasters perhaps).

This is coming out on R1 dvd next Tuesday. Oddly enough, Media Blaster/Tokyo Shock has switched around the title, calling it "Hair Extensions:Exte". Anyway, I can't wait to see it.

Holy Shit, this film was a shit ton darker than I remembered it being. The stuff with the sister and her kid and that flashback during the first attack are way more fucking intense than I remembered.
