Shaking things up a bit. And complicating things a bit but I think this is the way to go.
The draft is 5 rounds. Each round will be split into 2 days. Each day will be split into 5 groups of drafters with three drafters in each group (one group will have 4 drafters since we have 31 people).
Each group will have a time slot on their draft day. Time slots will start at 9am EST and run for 2 hours. All members of the group may draft at any time during those 2 hours. There is no order within the group just first come first serve. When all three members of the group have drafted or the two hours has passed, the next group listed may then draft. The last time slot of the day will be from 5pm to 7pm EST. The 2nd draft day cannot start until the following day at 9am.
Groups A-E will draft on the first day for rounds 1, 3, and 5 and the second day for rounds 2 and 4 and Groups F-J will draft on the first day for rounds 2 and 4 and the second day for rounds 1, 3 and 5. (I'll lay it all out so you don't have to think so much).
