What Spike Likes

http://whatspikelikes.blogspot.com/

New Blog, free of the alphabetical constraints of Spike vs. His DVD Collection. I just got sick and tired of trying to write something about Azumi so just decided to start again only focusing on shit I like. Expect cinema, DVD, videogame, book, music reviews on this one.

Get It? Got It? Good.

Are you sitting comfortably?

Then fuck you, because my chair’s broken and the idea of someone holding a position of greater comfort than me feels me with the kind of impotent rage that can only be expressed over t’internet.

What this blog represents is a mental vent, I’ve tried this before and have been scuppered by the dual foes of boredom and constraint. So this is going to be a fairly free wheeling affair. If I wanna write about the cinema I’ll write about the cinema, if not I’ll write about something media related (presumably a videogame and even more presumably a videogame in which lots of people get shot lots of time).

Haven't seen the movie yet (this weekend hopefully) so I stayed the ever-loving hell away from your No Country for Old Men entry, but I know.. I just know your going to blog up some Team Fortress 2, so I'm waiting with baited breath for that and everything else that's safe for me to read.

Rock on!

You stopped going toe-to-toe with your DVD Collection?
I was looking forward to your expose of Clueless. Just fucking with you, the new blog looks nice.

Thoughts on Assassin's Creed, I actually really liked the game despite it being inherently awful.

I'm hoping to get some updates done fairly regularly leading up to New Years with my pick of christmas entertainment and my top tens of the year.

Just got my Survive Style 5+ review up, you can find it here. I'm just posting each time I make a post so that I can catalogue these things so that I don't lose stuff when Blogger goes funny.

I was considering buying Viva Pinata for my girlfriend (who isn't a gamer). Thanks for the article, you just saved me some money. I exptected this game to be fairly easy and laid-back.
