Wrong Turn 3

I'm not ashamed to admit that I love the hell out of Wrong Turn2.
It was a truly fun and creative film.

haven't seen 2 yet, but it's available now on On Demand, so one of these cold winter nights I'll give it a look see. I realy liked the first one, so I expect it'll be pretty good. Why not 3? I think at this point I'd rather see even a just decent sequel than another horrid remake.

It was a blast, Iggy. C'mon, Henry Rollins and inbred, mutated, cannibal hillbillies? Hell, a six-pack and a bag of chips and you're set.

The Wrong Turn films are a gas - decent kills here and there, stories move at a good clip, decent eye candy (Eliza Dushku in WT1? Sold.); here's to WT3!

Now this, I can get behind. I only wish Rollins' character could be there too. Twin brother, maybe?

Bring it on!

And please have Rollins in it. I don't care if it is a twin, a zombie or a fucking vampire, I need me some more Hank dammit.

My thoughts on the second film from The Focused Film Discussion thread................

Ugh so I was finally able to rent this at blockbuster. I say finally because apparently people are renting the hell out of that thing. But for the life of me I can't figure out why.

I agree that this was an above average direct to video sequel but given the current state of direct to video thats not saying much. Alright lets start off with the things I liked. I loved some of the kills. The exploding arrows, the chopped in half Caldwell, Rollins death. I liked them eating Caldwell's legs and some of the family moments including the prayer scene. And loved the hero girl getting killed very early on unexpected.

However I really hated everything else. The problem with what everyone is refering to as the "fun" really just robbed the film of all the tension the first one had. Really the first film had a few genuine moments of tension but this one.......not so much. Also I really hated Rollins. The fights with the monsters were ok (although they shook the shit out of the camera) but his stupid ass comments afterword destroyed it for me. "Say hello to this misses for me". Really I waited the whole movie to see Rollins square off with the dad creature but of course he was killed off so that was ruined. Oh and I can't forget the characters, wonderful weren't they? I couldn't have been happier when the horn dog was killed. But don't worry he had character development with the lesbian and stuff.

What was supposed to be a fun movie ended up being really fucking dumb with a few cool kills and a nice pair of tits. But don't worry the athlete won't touch em.

So as you can see do I want a third film by the same director? Fuck blury fight scenes.
