This is code/development-related. I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in Misc Culture... Move as appropriate.
After finally selling my soul, I'm trying to build a MySpace page. It's a music-centric page, so it doesn't have the profile editing features that regular pages have. I have a bunch of YouTube videos I am trying to embed in the page. Pretty straightforward, except I'd like some way to hide them away and keep the page fairly compact -- either through some sort of collapsible component/lj-cut kind of thing, or with a scrollbox. Those are the tidiest solutions I can think of.
I haven't been able to figure out collapsible text/video, because it probably involves linking to someone else's JavaScript and I don't know how to do that. Putting the videos in a scrollbox seems to work fine in Firefox, but in Safari the flash element (i.e. the videos) scrolls over the borders and outside the box.
Anyone with any knowledge who can help? Perhaps I could embed each video in a pop-up window when the user clicks on a hyperlink. Would that be possible?
