Hey guys, thanks for telling me about this and including me even though NO ONE (including LD, Banks, and LeFors who I talk to outside of CHUD almost daily) informed me about this new round of posts. Lucky for YOU guys, I .....have no plans. I'm so alone.

But seriously, I vote for Wanted, but Hancock is fine for me. I'm in for whatever.

The good news: I got a sitter.

The bad news: it's a weeknight, so I've gotta be home by 9:00. No movie for me.

I'm going to shake things up and bring a girl. Go easy on my wife, Skeletor!

We'll have to take down the "No Gurlz Allowed" sign that we usually hang on our table, then.

Funny, we never needed that before to keep girls away.

So you guys want to meet for dinner at 6, then play the movie by ear? Where? Clyde's?
Clyde's is fine by me, but I sort of remember somebody not liking Clyde's.
Well, anything is OK as far as I'm concerned. Matchbox? Frank, Soul, Callahan, weigh in.
Cyde's is fine, but I don't know Chinatown all that well. I'm flexible.
Chinatown is good, but most places are fairly pricey. I like Clyde's, but if we want to go up a notch in price, Rosa Mexicano has guacamole like you wouldn't believe.

Clyde's is fine by me.

Luckily Clyde's is like a block or two away from a stop on the Red Line so it's easy to get to.... If you're using metro that is.

Speaking of close to the Metro, Gordon Biersch is a good place too, that pasta dish I had last time was great.
Well, let's go with Clyde's -- I know Soul is OK with it, as I've seen him eat there.

Without objection, I'll make a reservation under the name Frank Cobretti, for 6, at 6.

Soul and I are huge fans. I actually got hit on last time by a waiter named (my name) who was wearing the same watch as me. It was pretty odd, to say the least.

We need a seventh chair for JB's spirit!

No kidding! Was he 7 feet tall? That is really bizarre. Also, the reason I don't wear a watch.

That and it's fall right off your bony wrist.

I guess I could be bitter, but I wish you guys the best of times. Sorry I can't make it this time. If we could maybe plan a weekend night next time, that would be the bee's knees.

Oh, and fuck all of you right to hell.
Hey, can we slide to 6:30? My babysitter won't show until 5:30, and there's no way I can make it to Clyde's in half an hour.
Done. I'll probably still get there around 6ish, though, if anyone else is early.
Me too. Let's drink enough to embarrass Frank in front of his wife!
Well, I'm not going to be drinking to excess, as I'm still sick as a dog. Fortunately, I don't need to be drunk to embarrass Frank (or myself, for that matter)!

I'm there. WHooo!

But probably will refrain from drinking. I had enough last week to last me for a while.
Awesome, looking forward to seeing you guys.

I'm probably going to duck out of work in the next hour and try to get some rest in hopes that I can re-shake this sickness. So if anything changes with the details on tonight, will one of you give me a call and let me know? Otherwise, I'll plan on seeing you around 6.
Excellent.
Had a blast everyone! I'll post the few pictures I took tonight sometime, didn't think of doing it when I got home last night. Like LD said, we need to get together again a lot sooner and I think the consensus was for HB2.
As always, thanks for the great time, fellas.

Good seeing everyone. We'll do it again soon.
I know this is a ways away but do we want to get together on November 3rd? It's a Monday. I ask because Henry Rollins is doing a show that night at the Birchmere and thought it'd be a fun thing to go to.
So the Arlington Drafthouse is getting a sister site in Wheaton Md. I'm pysched for this because it's a pain for me to travel to Arlington. Although I doubt they'll ever have an event as cool as when they had Frost, Pegg and Wright showing off Hot Fuzz.
I got that e-mail this morning. The inclusion of first-run movies is going to make it really interesting.
Wait - what? That's near me! Huzzah!
I haven't been to Adams Morgan since biblical times. Does anyone have intel on a place called the Black Squirrel?
