For whatever reason I can never take someone with the last name of "Hamburger" seriously. Even though it's a real name. Being named after a food item throws me off a bit.

I don't mean to pick on the Vietnamese, but I used to chuckle a bit every time I drove past this place.

I worked with a guy whose first name was Conan.

Yeah, it was a game store that sold a lot of D&D stuff.

People would read his name tag and say "That's cool!" Guess they didn't have to live with it every day. Kind of sad really.

A dentist near my hometown is Dr. Indelicato. His patients must be a bit nervous.

The creator of Cartoon Network's Johnny Bravo is named Van Partible.

No one ever believes me when I tell them about this late professor from the college in my hometown.

Read it and weep, jerks.

I've never been as lucky as some of you guys, but on various occasions I have spoken with Port Wood, Remo Longhair, Vernon Turnsplenty, Geneva Armentrout, and Barbie Dahl.

I know what you mean. My favorite in that category was one Katarina Lang.

I know a dentist named Dr. Cryan, and my wife's step-brother is named Thor.

My wife graduated high-school with a Buffy Nuffer and a Patty Puff. Here at the dealership, we've sold cars to the following: Harry Dick, Lovey Darling, Sunny Sommers, Harley Hopp, Butch Dike Sr AND Jr, and Peter Hammerins.

Small communities are gold for fucked-up names...

The best (and most unfortunate) name for a NASCAR driver:

Dick Trickle.

The best I've come across lately are Colby Berger (a woman), and a great old geezer named Lothar.

I also work with a guy named Shingledecker, which isn't that funny until you add stuff to it, like "I'll take a double Shingledecker with cheese", or "My mother was killed by a flying Shingledecker when I was a boy". We've got a bunch of them.
And my ex-girlfriend's doctor was named Dr. Ocktor.

There's a chiropractor in bayonne, NJ named Dr. Arthur Feintuch.

I also knew a guy named Thor.

I once worked with a scrawny kid named Frank Rambo Mann IV. He went by Bo, and his dad by Frank, but seriously...Rambo Mann?

I hum that song for about three hours every time I see him

The guy who conducted Michael Hutchence's funeral was, to give him his full title, "The Very Reverend Boak Jobbins" which is entirely magnificent.

I've heard rumours - but have no proof of the actual existence - of people with the following names:

Keith Phipps-Gore DeVeux Balbirnie (who was - if the rumours are true - a lavatory attendant)

Pocahontas McGinty.

How would you like that guy playing with your junk?

That's such a gay porn star name it's not even funny. Even they are thinking that name is too obvious.

When I was in elementary school, my dentist's name was Dr. Savage. Freaked me out at the time.

Until a few years ago, I was unaware that there was a pulp character named Doc Savage. Going off of the comics, he was the manliest dentist ever.

Got a couple: a lawyer in my home town was named Guy Black, so was listed in the phone book as Black, Guy, and I knew a kid whose name was Stony Atkins but had been previously changed from Stony Slate.
