Thus far, there are very few good examples of American animation done in anime style that are any damn good. First of all, giving everyone bigass eyes does not anime make. Secondly, why?

Not so much "anime style" as anime, since these shorts are apparently to be produced by Japanese studios. Animatrix Part 2 I guess.

I'm loving the art featured in the article. While I grew up on the 90s animated series, the new look of Gotham Knights is interesting. I'm sure we'll be getting a story involving the Joker somewhere in the anthology.

Curious to see who they tap to do the voices since they can't use the actors from the previous cartoons.

I am looking forward to an anime Batman. This year we had a good Highlander anime Highlander: The Search For Vengence. I never cared for live action Highlander, so I think more anime films of various US characters is a good idea.

I thinking they'll probably be able to get Bale to do it. Everyone else I'm not sure about.

It was the one with the kids relating their stories about seeing Batman around the city. Not the greatest thing I've ever seen but it did some interesting stuff. I've got the whole movie, maybe I'll check it out soon and write something up for Chud.
