I'm going to be hosting another movie night at my favorite bar (Hell Gate Social) the Sunday before Christmas (23rd), and going to show one of these two flicks. I might fight to have a double feature if we can start it earlier, but I'll have to see.

Anyway, which one do you guys think would work better? And yes, I know I don't have Black Christmas as an option. I just think these two would be better for a rowdy drunk crowd.

Christmas Evil for sure.

What, no Santa's Slay?

Jesus man, I want a good bad movie! I don't want the drunks rioting. (note how I say "the drunks" like I won't be among their number)

Also a concern- it's going to be projected inside the bar (pussies can't handle a little cold!) and have to compete with the chatter.

I could very easily see Santa's Slay causing a riot or two, espically with a bunch of drunks. Good call, Alex.

That and the killer moaning "Punish!" as he axes a couple victims. The joke factor should be enough for SNDN to win hands down.

I like SNDN better, (especially the aforementioned crazy old grandpa) but it has larger lulls in the action. Christmas Evil might work better in the bar environment.

Christmas Evil is the better movie, but SNDN would probably be the better choice given the surroundings. though if you do choose Christmas Evil, be sure to have "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" ready to go on the jukebox.

the Krug directed christmas classic To All a Good Night is probably fine drinking establishment viewing too.

I must be the only one who can't stand Christmas Evil. Hated it through and through. SNDN, hands down.

Neither. Black Christmas. The original.

For shame, Bob Clark. For shame.

Worked out pretty damn good- I got the double feature going. Christmas Evil left a lot of people scratching their heads, especially cause it takes a while to build up. I had a few bar regulars conived that it was a light-hearted Christmas tale, that Harry was just a nice, misunderstood guy. But people were yelling when that metal toy soldier went into that guy's eye...

Silent Night/Deadly Night went over a helluva lot better, mostly because of all the blood and t&a. Mostly the t&a.
