Anyone else experiencing major lagtime loading CHUD?

I've noticed the past few weeks, that it can take forever loading CHUD (Main & MB). Sometimes it just times out completely and fails to load at all. I tend to be on at work, using IE. No other website's giving me issues that I've noticed (course, I'm not on any other website nearly as much).

Anyone else? I suppose it could be my server here at my place of employment, but I doubt it. Could it be traffic? Renovations with the site?

Seems to be going a lot faster now, but around noon it was timing out on me.

Yeah, it's much improved now. But 10-12 was a bear (the Grizzly Park kind).

The site didn't load for me on my work computer until 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Today it was slow as hell. However, it works great on my home PC.

I will say, I was jonesin' like a motherfucker what without my CHUD fix, an' shit.

Gotta cop to getting antsy whenever CHUD has fits like it did today (and yesterday). I end up leaving the site for a bit, convinced that when i eventually do come back, the Re-design will be in effect. Still, I have to believe its immanent- we're seeing the little things like the lack of branding, and the embedded links at the end of articles that take us to proper threads. Its gonna happen soon

Weird. I get an error trying to load my CHUD bookmark, but Googling and selecting the second link worked just fine.

I love how every time the site is slow and I get DB errors or whatever I secretly hope it's because the revamp is getting uploaded or something.

Simple solution: buy more shit with the CHUD Amazon link so Nick can afford to fix things quicker.

After Nick's earlier post from the other day, I was under the same impression, though I am patient and hope the transition goes smoothly.

I've had some connection troubles lately, but some of it has been my own ISP.

This afternoon alone, the MBs have failed to load for me about 5-6 times in the midst of perusing them.

Couldn't get on anything (other than strictly "chud.com", no articles or forums though) all weekend from home on Firefox, for what it's worth.

Error mentioned sending the site commands that weren't understood or some such.
