Question about Huckabee and Paul

It seems obvious that Huckabee is taking some of Ron Paul's views lately. First Huckabee talks about getting rid of the IRS and now I hear him attacking Bush and foreign policy saying "if we try to dominate they hate us, we need to set good examples"

This is bullshit!

Huckabee's anti-IRS 'policy' is a by-product of his wholesale adoption of Neil Boortz's "Fair Tax" fantasy, not a rip-off of Paul.

Don't get mad cause he dominates online topics and is winning.

Unless he has the secret formula for turning money into votes, I think you can take "winning" off of the table.

Next Ron Paul meeting* you go to take a look around. I'll bet $100 cold hard cash that the person to your left has been on less dates than a frequent Trek convention fan. And the person on your right, they make the Unabomber look a luddite.

Listen, we're trying to help. It isn't the fact that you support a candidate with gusto, more power to you. It's how you support the candidate. The Paul-fanatics consistently stress weird conspiracy theories. They use youtube to justify their stances. I can take a video of my taking a crap and put it on youtube. That doesn't mean it is politically relevant (although my crap does look a bit like Putin hugging Chavez so maybe it is after all). I actually like some of what Paul has to say. But the way he goes over the top and the way his supporters act like rabid dogs is just silly.

*Oh wait, all Ron Paul support is Internet based. My bad.

Instead of arguing about Ron Paul how about we stick to the topics....you want to argue let's talk about the country

The topic being that Ron Paul is infallible, right?

I've got a powerful libertarian streak in me right now, I blame being a young 20-something...so I like a lot of the basic ideas the guy's pushing (I recognize that I'll grow out of this phase. Please send cookies and well-wishes while I'm working through it)...but you're a fucking lunatic if you think he's got half a shot at the nomination.

HIS.PARTY.HATES.HIM.

Why would they vote to nominate someone that they revile?
