It seems that a week-and-a-half of Golden Compass was all it took for Shaye to crumble.

When I started the thread there was no story on the main page and the only place on the site that mentioned the news was on a thread that, while about the Hobbit, was related to a totally different news item. How exactly would talking about the Hobbit finally happening not have been a relevant thread? If you really wanted to be pissy about it you should have just neg repped me and been done with it.

Regardless, as I said above, this thread should now be deleted.
