Do people support their local houses? Like if you live in NYC you should be a member of the Film Forum, BAM, others.

My apt is walking distance from BAM so I go there often. But I can't stand their seating. They are extremely long rows, so if you are a "middle, middle" person like me, once you're in your seat that's it. There's no going in and out, which really sucks since I get to the theater early in order to get my optimal seat. Also for shorty like, non-stadium seating means I'm always one big head away from not being able to see the screen. That said, the movie selection at BAM is top notch and always worth going to see.
