Time's Person of the Year 2007 - Better than You

Vladimir Putin is Time's Person of the Year.

I was really surprised, I thought, given Time's track record the past couple of years, they'd make good on somebody's prediction and give it to Harry Potter or JK Rowling. (She's a runner-up.) Putin's a solid, decent choice, though.

Makes sense, I was thinking Gore might have gotten it but this one unlike last year does make sense.

It was Putin who caused other world leaders to take their shirts off and have pics taken by Paparazzi. For him we would've never had photos of Gordon Brown going as Mayor Haggard for Halloween.

I agree, but I figure I fall somewhere within the 100 most influental Chud members for the year with Ripoll ahead of me by about 15 to 27 steps.
