Interesting video, about 18 minutes long, but really informative.

I've tried several times to make it through that video, but the guy's voice puts me to sleep before he even gets to the loop in question.

yup, i've heard that beat. but for someone talking about rhythm, the narrator sure needs to learn something about his. what a snoozefest!

no fucking way is that the most sampled drum loop ever.

Off the top of my head, I'd say

Funky Drummer - James Brown
When the Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin
Big Beat - Billy Squier
More Bounce To The Ounce - Zapp
Sing a Simple Song - Sly and the Family Stone
Impeach the President - The Honeydrippers

That drum loop in the documentary is big, but it's nowhere near as ubiquitous or recognizable as any of those six.

Funky Drummer was my 1st guess, too.

Gotta agree, that narrator blows goats. I do think that track is used alot. Not like Funky Drummer though, that has been raped like Jodie Foster on a pool table!

The Amen break is used so much you don't even notice it. It's everywhere.

It's kind of ridiculous how this guy dismisses Squarepusher as chin-stroking fetishism.
