Did you watch 60 Minutes? Do you believe him or MacNamee? Or is the truth somewhere in the middle?

He seems guilty. Which sucks.

Is this as bad as Bonds? Does it suck because we've always believed he was one of the 'Good Guys'?

I'm not sure how to feel. I do believe he did it though.

I could never stand the guy. That said, I didn't really suspect him of being a doper. My reasoning being that we saw Nolan Ryan pitch well into his 40s, and not at the level maybe Roger did, but pretty decently. If Nolan could do it, why not Roger.

That said, if some irrefutable evidence came out, it wouldn't surprise me.

Nolan Ryan was on the Advil. Cheater.

I hope he's not, but think he is. The press conference yesterday didn't really help him.

Still a HOFer, IMO.

I think he's guilty, but he's too stubborn to realize that admitting guilt is better than people thinking you a liar in the court of public opinion. Comments like "steroids don't do anything but make you look better in a suit" (not verbatim, but close) don't help his cause. Neither does the recorded phone call, which to me comes across as one of the greatest pitchers of our time trying to intimidate a trainer.

At first I was disappointed but the longer he's been protesting the more I'm convinced perhaps he is innocent but, truth be told I haven't read too much into this (mostly out of denial). So I voted no. I think he's the shoeless joe jackson of this whole ordeal.

Guilty (but then I've suspected he was for sometime so part of that may be personal bias).

Someone (maybe her on the Boards) made a good point - Clemons' guilt is good news for Bonds. The voters won't hold Clemons out of the HOF even after he is proven guilty.

Clemens as one of the 'good guys'? That's quite a stretch.

I don't think there's any doubt that he did it. He's pinning his arguments on the fact that there isn't going to be a firm paper trail and running from there. He's already shown to have been bullshitting about a number of things in the two public appearances that he's had, and I have little doubt that he's just taking the chance that people will want to believe he's innocent (which is stupid).

Is Bond's still a HOF'er in your opinion then?

Sorry, what I meant when I said 'Good Guys' was not that he wasn't a jerk, but has always been presented as a hard worker, dedicated to the game and the art of pitching.

I'd never keep a player out of the HoF for being a dick, hell you'd have to empty half the thing out and the other half for all the cheaters. Leaving of course Tony Gywnn.
