Wait until you hear what his programming gimmick is, and some of the bizarre double features he has lined up.

I need to trade my people for your people so I can be in the goddamn loop on this. If the success of The Wright Stuff leads to a lot of filmmakers doing shit like this then LA just got a lot cooler.

There's another cool film person who will probably be doing a festival after Roth. I don't know how firmed up that is, though.

I'd have nothing against QT's Grindhouse Festival 2.

Ah man.

At first I thought "The Greats of Roth" was going to be about them showing Tim Roth's best films, not Eli Roth's fave movies.

Disappointing. Very disappointing.

I was hoping for a bunch of early Van Halen videos.

Should be entertaining even if I don't like Roth nearly a tenth as much as Wright. I'll be there for some of them, I imagine.

Damn, I thought it said "The Greats of Rath" and would include some pulled quotes from our very own RathBandu. Boooo.

February 17-19

TORSO
PIECES

February 20-21

MOTHERS DAY
CREEPSHOW

February 22-23

CARRIE
ZAPPED!

February 24-26

THE APPLE
STUNT ROCK

February 27-28

THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT
CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST

February 29-March 1

BACHELOR PARTY
CADDYSHACK

I just saw a banged up print of Torso tonight, and the same gang screened Pieces last October at a 24 hour film marathon. Pieces was the crowd favorite, bar none. That is a double feature worth seeing with a crowd, I'm telling you. Hear me, and obey.

And holy Christ, go see The Apple, people. I have no idea what Stunt Rock is, but it sounds spectacular, and I'm curious how a crowd screening of Blair Witch will play today. That's a fun February for you left coasters.

Holy shit, he's playing STUNT ROCK?

You go, Eli.

Why do I go to college again? It screwed me out of the Wright Film Fest and now this. God damn it. I'm going to skip class for some of these, just like I should have done to see Ted Leo & The Pharmacists opening for The Pogues. God damn it. Sorry, just having a personal breakdown here, don't mind me...

If I don't get to go to these then I'll be horribly, horribly pissed.

I still want a Tim Roth film showcase.

I am so going to Torso/Pieces. I have the day off the next day, too. Thank you, George Washington!

Doing the Blair Witch / Cannibal Holocaust set with my cousins, looking forward to getting into a fist fight with the first person that shits on the OG of shaky cam films.
