Mark Ronson Presents Rhymefest - Man in the Mirror

As you may have guessed, this album is a tribute to Michael Jackson.

Rhymefest and Ronson have sampled old interviews and songs to create this weird experience of an album about them and Michael Jackson making an album about them and Jackson. Though of course MJ was never there. It's cool, with a warm, infectious sense of humor. Rhymefest is clearly a huge fan of MJ (which he tells us every few minutes here) and I'm sure there were a bunch of references that went over my head. I still had fun, though: enough that I want to spread the word.

That album art needs to go.

But I like Ronson's production work a lot, so consider me interested.

Just heard a little bit but this is how you do a damn promotional mixtape. Rhymefest is OK but the concept and execution is great and i hope to see some good quality immitations from other artists and their inspirations.
