Bless all of you assholes. Every damn one.

My dad called me from the Obama rally in Chicago. I couldn't even hear him.
Cue Hendrix's "Star Spangled Banner".

It's over, baby.

God Bless America!

I'd give anything to be there right now.
God bless everyone, and god bless America.

I. Can't. Fucking. Believe. That. Virginia. May. Be. What. Put. Obama. Over. The. Top.

As I've been telling my Right-leaning friends and family members all night, whatever history says about President Obama, this is a GOOD night for our country. We've made some mistakes in our history and no doubt will again, but this is a great night.

The baby boomers dropped the ball when it came time to transform what America means, for its own citizens and for the world. Under President Obama let's make sure that we hit it out of the park!

And, I'm not at all ashamed to admit that it was gone after the travesty that was 2000 & the eight long years since.

And now, once again, I am damned proud to be an American!
Yes you could!

Thank you US of A!
I'm not crying...I just...I just...

Fuckin' yes.
I woke my son up to show him since he pressed the Obama button for my mom this morning. He says: "We did it daddy? We won?" All any of us could say was "Yes we did. We won."
Am I pro-American now? Do I get a lapel pin?
Guys I am so fucking delighted for you I can't put it into words - well done!!! Just utterly incredibly brilliant.

Dev, your dad is one lucky guy - there's nowhere I'd rather be at this moment than at that rally in Grant Park.

WELL DONE AMERICA!!!!!!
I don't want to belittle this moment, but this could be the greatest victory for democracy in the history of our world.
MSNBC just called Florida for Obama! Florida has redeemed itself.
Holy shit.

Young Jeezy playing.

My President is black. I'm crying a bit.
McCain's up.

EDIT: And the crowd boos Obama's name. Classy.
What the fuck

McCain's audience has the gall to still boo Obama's name.

Fucking assholes.
And thank you all ( even Snaike ) for making this long journey so, so interesting.

385 pages ( & counting ) of love for all my brothers & sisters here man.
those boos hurt his soul. Good.
I take back some of the bad things I've said about florida.
Seeing Jesse Jackson openly weep in the crowd was what ended up really getting to me.

Then I saw McCain's crowd booing at the mention of Obama's name, and I wanted to give them all cancer. Assholes.
McCain is conceding, holy shit this is real!
I'm watching McCain right now...please...please man...say what's really on your mind...say "Fuck you" to all those racist motherfuckers who dragged you down with them.
McCain will do his best here, and God Bless him.

I hope his followers can be gracious in defeat and celebrate the victory of their country.
Great fucking job people. Nice to have you back America.

Now go party.
So McCain's speech is going to be exclusively about race?

How about giving Obama some real credit?
McCain's better than his supporters. I wish he'd realized that long ago.
So what will become of this mighty thread?
Now that the race is over I can go back to liking McCain again.

This concession speech is pure class.
HOLY SHIT - it's real. I was distracted and then looked up and saw "JOHN MCCAIN CONCEDES DEFEAT." Oh my God. This is amazing.
McCain's speech has been surprisingly touching and poignant. I think it's done a little bit to help redeem his soul.
McCain has truly done a great job on this speech.
We can call this a landslide, right?

McCain's speech was good. Can't wait for Obama's.
McCain's speech is exactly what I was hoping he would say.

McCain's concessions is pure class right here. I am impressed.
"The failure is mine. Not yours."

Shut the fuck up crowd; McCain is losing with dignity and grace. This is the man I knew back in 2000.
He deserves better supporters

I'm not letting those fucktards get me down. Not in this moment.

And watching Jesse cry got me, too.
This speech is dragging.
McCain concession speech is kinder here than it was when he lost to Bush. That's becuase he knows Obama beat him fair and square. He didn't like Bush, but you can almost tell he can't help but respect Obama now.

IMO landslide is determined by popular vote. 51-48 is NOT a landslide.
No, no McCain, you were doing so well....don't....FUCK!

The failure is HERS!
I'm very proud of McCain's speech, but his followers keep fucking it up.

This is why I don't live in Phoenix any more.
McCain's speech is actually really good.

And I hope Palin disappears forever.
PLEASE keep pumping Palin. I want a Democratic majority 'til I croak.
In the days to come, I would love to see McCain speak openly about what went wrong, and how this campaign flew out of his control. It's not as if he'll still need to kowtow to the party.
