I've been burned many times by the recent efforts of the old heads. But that doesn't mean I won't be looking for this on DVD...

The key to Frankenhooker is not to take it seriously — or, rather, it's a lot easier to take it seriously if you don't take it seriously, if that makes sense. Basically, it works a lot better to think of it as tongue in cheek. The exploding Barbie dolls in particular will crack your shit up. And yeah, in general, it's actually a pretty good movie.

Basically, anybody who could make that plus Basket Case has earned a free pass for a while. Looking forward to the new movie.
