The Bat-cave and the first enterprise one look great.
I'd never leave my house if i had one of those.

I would be happy with any of those. The titanic one is elegant. WOW

The Batcave.. is.. beautiful

Going through people's homes and finding crazy shit like this is what I look forward to the most when I'm the sole survivor of the plague that's going to wipe out humanity and leave me as the last man on Earth.

I would totally build that batcave theater in my house, and the entrance would be a secret entrance in a book case opened by a button in the bust of Shakespeare.
I would like a whole house in the style of the Titanic one.

It would sink.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around how much it would run to setup something like that. But I suppose people that have the space for a room like that in their house are probably not hard up for cash.

God, the Titanic and the Nautilus ones are gorgeous.

Gotta say, I'm not crazy about the Enterprise one. It looks like the inside of our conference room at work.

All of those look glorious. One day, when I have a ridiculous amount of disposable income, I too will have a Batcave home theater. Complete with guano.
number 5 cost $3 million. One of the other ones was only 15 grand.

Make sure to get one of these for your Batman theater: http://cgi.ebay.com/Batman-Batcave-S...QQcmdZViewItem

The Titanic one would be worth having regardless of it being movie inspired. It's just a very classy, elegant design.

Slide show of award winning home theatres for 2007. The enterprise got "best themed."
As I scrolled down to the Titanic one, I thought "There needs to be a Nautilus one... the big view window would make a kickass screen." Scroll down a little more, and there it is.

Very impressive indeed. I wouldn't mind owning any of them, but I would kill for the Batcave and would love a talking Robbie.

It seems a lot of those theaters have the Kaleidescape system. I'd love to have that in my house.

I will, too, in another decade when the price becomes sane.

We can all cheap in and build ONE of them.
Shared custody?

NC-1701D's design is the most like looking at an actual movie set. Bizarre.

How much does it cost anyway? They of course don't show prices on their websites. You have to call a "dealer".

Their lowest introductory computer starts at $10K supposedly, which doesn't include installation or your TVs or sound systems, just the computer. They say it runs $50-60/DVD, which for the low end holding 335 DVDs is more like $20K.

All those rocked. Though I prefer using a couch when watching a movie as opposed to a chair.

What the hell. I'm sure someone could make the same thing for under a grand that could hold more DVDs.

Before I saw this thread, I never wanted to be a homeowner, and I didn't have any particular desire to be rich.

The Batcave one is stunning. The lighting really makes it work.

I usually do too, but a friend of mine has a home theater setup with some chairs like that. They're almost too comfortable, as a lot of people fall asleep in them...
