I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
Once again I will be in LA for a a few nights and The New Bev is offering slim pickins on the late night tip. Only option so far is Disco Godfather on the 23rd. Anyone going?
I'd really much rather see The Room, so if anyone knows of a screening, hit me up.
They got Prisoner Of Zenda & Flynn's Prince And The Pauper playing back-to-back on the 4th and it's killing me. YOU SONS OF BITCHES STOP SCREENING GOOD MOVIES!
Visiting my brother over the weekend, and thinking I may drag him to the Peckinpah/Tarantino double feature on Monday night. Any chewer activity in the forecast?
It's a struggle for me too. I've got some conflicting plans, but UNINVITED not being on DVD and being majorly hyped by Scorsese is making me think I need to short some shit out.
I did. Was surprised by how many people were there. The New Bev's attendance has really improved since I first started going years ago. Used to be that for old movies like that there'd only be about 10 people in the theater (one of them Clu, of course). It was fairly packed last night. Nice to see people turn out for something that isn't just 80's nostalgia.
UNINVITED was great. Kind of a horror-comedy actually, as most of the scary parts were also very heavily played for laughs. This was the funniest I've ever seen Ray Milland.
BTW: if my schedule permits I'm gonna try and make one of the Fred/Ginger nights coming up.
