The interesting thing about Cthulhu's example thread is that there's only one pic in there that's been airbrushed to hell and back. The honest answer to this question, for me, is that I have no idea what Birch looks like without make-up or without having been airbrushed to within an inch of her life.

You ever heard of lighting and make up? A photo doesn't need to be airbrushed to look like that (although I'm not necessarily saying that one isn't). That's another term that gets thrown around too much, and I suspect because most people really don't know how to look for the telltale signs.

It applies to Playboy and Maxim Magazine photo shoots often...maybe all the time. It doesn't apply to every artistic photograph of a famous actress or model you ever see in a magazine.

Here, these are better examples, light make up, and I'm sure they hasn't been airbrushed to hell and back.





Not really really hot, but definitely not ugly. And definitely fuckable.

I'd play with those jugs like a cat with a ball of twine, but that's it. None of those pictures you guys have posted have made her look especially hot - probly because she isn't. I think "Fuck Ugly" was meant as a bit of hyperbole, but I can definitely see why El Tati doesn't think she's pretty.

Wow, I had no idea that "pretty girl with a great body" was the new term for "ugly" these days. Kind of like how the fashion world likes to tell us that navy or brown is the new black. Doesn't mean they're right, but every so often, misguided bullshit always gets tossed around.

I love the fact that I just make one comment about a woman i really find very unattractive and everyone assumes i only like blond, green eyes, skinny supermodels. OR that I'm some kind of Fat racist or anything.

It's not a personal attack, it's just that calling her "fuck ugly" is a strawman argument at best. "I don't find her attractive" or "she's not my type" is one thing, but "fuck ugly" implies she would be empirically hideous. As demonstrated here, many of us think she's cute as hell.
