My first blog told you who the hell I am: http://chud.com/articles/blogs/13/Bl...---012308.html

My second blog gives my take on the current state of comic books - http://chud.com/articles/blogs/20/Bl...---012408.html

My third blog actually dares to go against the grain with my opinion of There Will Be Blood - http://chud.com/articles/blogs/36/Bl...---012708.html

this installment of Blood, Sweat and Beers is dedicated to the Academy people who believe that "It is simply not possible to include everyone in that (In Memoriam) segment."

Great idea for a blog Shawn. I'm playing an enormous game of catch-up in terms of classic films and M and Ingmar Bergman's stuff (inspired by a marathon on the Filmspotting podcast) is quite high on the list.

I am really excited about doing this. The next movie on my list is Le Samourai by Melville, and I don't plan on slowing down on these anytime soon.

I agree entirely with your thoughts on Del Toro.

Nice write up on Lawrence. I just watched it again a month ago. Majestic and wonderful film.

My first viewing of the film coincided with my first motorcycle purchase. I sat down to watch the film with my mom and when it started I was happy to see Lawrence on a bike. I turned to my mother a retired nurse who was dead set against me getting a bike, and said:

"See mom, Lawrence of Arabia rides a motorcycle".

She replied "just watch"

You can't say enough good things about this true masterpiece! I saw this on the big screen a month ago-the only way to appreciate all the details. (What an outstanding job of editing.)

Witrh Indiana Jones coming out, I had to revisit this movie. It is just magnificent on all levels.

I'll be damned. A blog a day for five days in a row. That's got to be some kind of record for anyone not named Nunziata.
