Zodiac/summer Of Sam

I was reminded about these two in the one of the ZODIAC threads. I check out the New Beverly and low and behold this Friday and Saturday they're doing a double feature.

I may actually consider going to this.

Okay, Zodiac is a fucking masterpiece. But Summer of Sam is way under-rated in my book.

Zodiac is the movie I wanted Summer of Sam to be. Zodiac is about the lives touched by the killings; Sam is about a climate brought on by the killings. And about anal sex in parked cars.

Eh, really I just wanted less Leguizamo and more John Turturro as the Doberman.

Yeah, I didn't like Summer of Sam at all. I did like Brody's performance, but the whole movie surrounding him was loud and obnoxious.

I'd have to agree on that part. I've already gone over the parts I liked and the majority I didn't like.
