Assistance needed...

I'm taking my wife out on Saturday for her birthday. I'm relatively familiar with some of the more well-known restaurants and attractions in Atlanta, but I was wondering if there are some spots that only the locals know about, somewhere that would make for a nice romantic evening. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Apparently most of the places frequented by the Atlanta Elite are Strip Clubs, so i'd be weary of any advice you might get here.

South City Kitchen is grand (there's two now, one in midtown and one in Smyrna, I think). If you're feeling like a bit more of a journey, Pearl Lian in John's Creek has great food with an amazing ambience.

I'm a big fan of Cafe Lily in Decatur.

Pasta da Pulcinella in Midtown is a neat little spot, too. Try the sausage/apple ravioli.

I know of several "damn good food" places but most aren't very romantic.
