Yeah, George Carlin is definitely one of my very favorites.
I can see what you're saying about Bill Hicks though, at first seeing his stand-up I was put off by the attitude about it and whatnot, but after a little while I started listening closer to what he was saying and began to like it more.
Perhaps it was that some of the subject matter I was also very passionate about.
But you know, To each their own.
