I'd like to be in. After Diva's explanation I fully understand. I understood before, I just wasn't sure if that was all there was to it. So yes, please let me play.

We're doing five rounds of 40 people?? Shit, that's a lot of movies! Be prepared for me to whip out Capricorn One when the pickings get slim.

I reckon you are gonna post another thread with specific times, rules, etc. whenever you feel ready.
But 40 players is going to be a massacre pretty soon I guess. But that seems to be part of the fun. So I should be off to do some research asap.

And yeah, I'll set up times and such and when it starts and rules. It'll be over two weeks, 5 rounds, 2 days per round --- all the same as last draft.

I'm not sure if it's gonna happen at all at this point. We'll see.

But tom de plume and Adam N. are 39 and 40 if it does.

Closed. 40 players. 5 films a piece. 200 flicks from the period. There will be no bonus rounds.

It does take some effort to coordinate draft times, start all the appropriate threads, make sure all the picks are eligible, and keep the master list up to date. But if Kirby can't do it, I'm sure somebody else can. If it does come to that, whoever does it should keep it simple. Kirby's tweaking of the format was successful last time, so don't go making any changes. Let's just wait and see, for now.
