Remember Sept 10, 2001 when Rummy had a press conference saying $2.2 TRILLION went MISSING............That was the biggest story in history until about 12 hours later when it was quickly forgotten.

I wonder what that amount of money could do...could buy ALOT of people to go along with pretty much anything.

In all fairness.. that number wasn't entirely real, nor was it an overnight occurrence.. those discrepancies stemmed back from the 70s and 80's with the cold war. A lot of the 'missing' money was black ops projects that are off the books, you can't exactly trust civil servants who are elected with national secrets, the people with those purse strings are lifers (think X-Files, cancer stick man). I mean, what's the budget at Area 51?(before the lid got blown off, now it's area 52, or 53 or whatever... the government owns 1/3 of Nevada desert) or the sandia mountains in Albuquerque? or several other highly restricted areas around the country that if you happen to wander into the no-warning sign perimeter you're surrounded by men with assault weapons that appear out of thin air. Think I'm joking? take a trip, just make sure you're not a suspected terrorist first.

Oh, as to the 3.1 trillion budget? Fucking ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, you gotta start off a little high and get chewed down but what the fuck will it be after? 2.8? 2.5? fucking ridiculous. That's including the 158 billion stimulus package that won't stimulate our economy enough to fix the problems we have. FUCKING Ben S. Bernanke! We need forward thinkers not reactionary thinkers.
