I got an email from a mailing list the other day announcing the tour. The wikipedia page has more information available.

This looks to have a pretty good lineup for the Heavy Metal Crowd.

Main Stage

Jagermister Second Stage

* Sevendust

* 36 Crazyfists
* Jagermister Battle of the Bands Winner

Untitled Third Stage

* Machine Head
* Black Tide
* Suicide Silence
* The Red Chord
* Walls of Jericho


I'll either be going to the show in Dallas or Atlanta.

I'm definitely hitting the Irvine date here in SoCal.

But can anyone tell me why in the name of Blaze Bailey is Sevendust headlining the second stage and MACHINE FUCKING HEAD the third?! Are we in some kind of bizarro world where Sevendust is a bigger draw than Machine Head?

Anyways, mostly going to see MH, Slipknot (usually put on a good show, will be interesting if they play any new material), and 5FDP.

Same shit happened one year at Ozzfest. Rob Zombie mainlined the second stage while some other bands that will not be named played on the main stage.

Oh and Slipknot is supposed to be working on a new album, so hopefully we will get to sample a track or two.
