I ruined your comments.

Oooh, just fucked your prediction buddy. Thread, posted in.

Perhaps the Vegas In-And-Out doesn't compare with the others but - I too was unimpressed.
You both will burn for all eternity for mocking the In-N-Out burgers.

You can mock the fries all you want (unless you get them Animal Style).

Gojira's gonna kick your ass for that.

White Castle: Yes. In & Out: Fuck no.

If In-N-Out is in heaven and people are stupid enough to wait for it for eternity (like they already do), I'll be on the first elevator down.

Be careful not to OD on White Castle over there Dave. Lord knows I hear of the damage those things can do.
Nice piece, Dave.
(Sounds like you're in a sequel to Elizabethtown!

Yes, but it's such a worthwhile damage. I grew up on that damage. I love that damage. Me and the damage are one.

Thanks, man. And at best a low budget spinoff maybe.

Pretty cool Oliver, I know for anyone who has lived in LA but hasn't gotten to downtown (And there are people out there like that) it's quite the shock. Hell it even happens to a guy like me when I have to drive down there (One Way only?).

But speaking of interesitng shopping places, LA Weekly talked about the quirkiness of Little Tokyo. I imagine that's quite a site and I hear there's an arcade there also.

I've never really spent a lot of time downtown (K-town was as close as I got to living there and Dodgers Stadium is the only place I regularly visit), but aside from the concert halls, etc., I have yet to find a lot to make it worth the trip. Occasionally my wife & I will go to Little Tokyo for lunch and some window shopping, but other than that, I've found a lot of downtown LA to be a dump.

I don't need to drive for half an hour and deal with one way streets to see lots of homeless and smell weird smells (non-homeless related). There's plenty of that in Santa Monica & Culver City.

Damn straight, not to mention it'll be cooler in Santa Monica and Culver City compared to downtown.

Thanks, Ed. It's funny. 12 years in LA and I've never been to Chinatown nor Little Tokyo. That may be my next field trip.

The phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words" can't be emphasized enough by this blog post.

Sorry, I missed you this past weekend.

You could've got some ghetto pics by heading out of Fourth Street and going down into Portland.

Yeah, same here. I was running around like crazy doing family shit. Next time.

And I did get some good ghetto pics. My brother and nephew both live in the West End. Hit a very nice hole in the wall around 27th St.

Unfortunately, no. But I did break the record for Memorial Day White Castles consumed.

This would explain why the local water treatment plant up in Portland reported significantly high levels of waste over that weekend.

Go to the Ham and Egger, then hang out in the area behind the place.

You're sure there isn't a setting on your TV that's gone awry?

Pretty sure because. It only does it for a few shows, thankfully.

Goddamn that's high. Of course I'm not sure what my levels are. But good luck on the game changer there Dave. I have no doubt you'll be eating better than me (Not that difficult to do) in no time.
