Ah, my old middle school nickname: Jeremy Jockitch or Jeremy Jockstrap, if you're nasty/thought you were really clever.

Any suggestions for me? All I can come up with is Piss O., but I don't know if that's necessarily something Mad would do. Unless we're talking MadTV. They would do that.

Tati must have grown up reading Cracked or Crazy magazine.

Well, MAD never made it here.
I just read a couple of issues from the eighties that my father used to collect.

No cursing in Mad. Ex- The parody of Apocolypse Now was called A Crock-O-BLEEP! Now.
Exception to the rule- Mad's first Star Wars parody in 1977. R2-D2 complains of being stranded with a "faggot" robot.

I remember feeling like I was getting away with something reading Mad because of the "damns" and "hells" thrown in. Cracked was a little cleaner, as I recall.
I started reading Mad when I, about 6, and I also remember feeling like I was getting away with something. This was mostly because, any time I didn't get a joke or reference, I assumed it had something to do with sex.*

*This rule also applied to movies. For example, in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I didn't know what the word "catatonic" meant. I, therefore, assumed it had something to do with the sex act.

And then you learned that, at least in your case, it did.

ZING!
