Saw a new blog from Edgar Wright posted this morning (Sunday), and at the end he included this tidbit:

"Oh, and you lucky people in the US, CA, NZ and Oz - there should be some good news on a SPACED DVD very, very shortly..."

He also posted a cartoon strip from a London newspaper that related time to "Spaced" episodes:

I think Edgar said on some Rotten Tomatoes podcast, that they were finally able to clear most of the music except 3 or 4 tracks and the DVD set should be sometime this year or next.

Got my series one DVD back this week. Very happy about that.

That strip is quality.

Fucking hell- great news. Can't wait to not have to debate buying a region free player and import the discs and just show my friends the genius already.

I've had the 3 disc edition for some time now but I'll sure I'll give them my money for this one it comes out. There are plenty of friends I've turned onto the show that will be buying it as well.

Can't wait.

Sad. I'll have to retire my R2 stuff now - but this is some of the best news I've seen all day. Me=stoked.
