A transcript claiming to detail Lee Harvey Oswald's plot to assassinate President John F Kennedy has been discovered in an old courtroom safe.

The record – described as reading like a conspiracy theorist's dream - appears to minute talks between Oswald and Jack Ruby, who killed Oswald after Kennedy's assassination.

I love how they are not sure if it is real, or a page from a screenplay.

Kind of a big difference, don't you think?

Whoops, you're right.

The fact that it's sitting in Henry Wade's file, and he didn't do anything, indicates he thought it wasn't worth anything," Mack said. "He probably kept it because it was funny. It's hilarious. It's like a bad B movie."

Terri Moore, an assistant to Watkins, today said she believed the transcript was part of a movie Wade was working on with producers.

The former prosecutor had discussed making the film, Countdown in Dallas, in letters found in the safe. "It's not real. Crooks don't talk like that," Moore said.
Kind of reminds me of last year's headlines concening North Korea's missles heading towards the US ("OMGOMGOMG!!! Oh wait, false alarm!").

I have to confess, I love JFK conspiracy theories. If they're running stuff like that on the History channel or A&E, I've been known to make popcorn and settle in. Sad. Lame. But true.

I just follow the reasoning that the The Onion had, that JFK was shot 129 times from 43 different angels and that the CIA, mafia, Castro, LBJ, Teamsters and Freemasons were involved.

I vaguely remember one Angel trying to shoot the Queen of England.
And...O.J. was there.

Same here. Totally 'curl up in the daddy chair" time.

And I hear Jack Ruby *wailed* on the tele, but that Oswald broke the band up.

Poser.
