Only got through STARSHIP TROOPERS and CAPTAIN AMERICA last night. So ATTACK THE BLOCK is up when I get off work

Watching Jobs' KEYNOTE from the APPLE MUSIC EVENT in 2004 where he unveiled iPod socks ("to keep your iPod warm"). Just great stuff, Steve was so funny when he wanted to be

I have a Halloween party triple feature lined up tonight; Black Sunday, Suspiria, and Zombi 2. I haven't seen the bookends before and I'm excited.

I'm afraid the continued success of TRANSFORMERS films disproves the existence of god. There is no one that can help you now

Aaaand, I'm about to watch FAST FIVE, as soon as I wake up from a brief nap I'm going to take

I was gonna rent that tonight but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Watched Attack the Block again. My brain cells sent me a "thank you" letter.

BILLABONG ODYSSEY is on deck for tonight. It's a doc, and I've heard good stuff about it

I've not seen DONNIE DARKO since FILM CLUB in highschool. Those were the days..

Tonight I'm going to watch V FOR VENDETTA again. I'm not a big fan of the film (between the way it changes the message of Moore's work, and the way James Purefoy was stabbed in the back, it doesn't sit well with me), but given how the Guy Fawkes mask has taken off as an international symbol in the wake of it's release, I want to reexamine it with fresh eyes and see why it appeals to so many people

Didn't get to V last night, so it's on deck for this evening!

Got CapAm out of the library, gonna rewatch it!

Got GREEN LANTERN out of REDBOX, so that's up once I get out of work

Nice! I've been meaning to revisit that one

And... tonight I'm going to watch the second half of GL. I got tired (both physically and of Ryan Reynolds) and so quit half way through last night. Then I'll probably watch some DS9 and begin my countdown to SKYRIM

I forgot how enjoyable Equilibrium was. Great movie. Bale being awesome before Batman

Just watched this again last night myself. The gun fights in Equilibrium are cooler than the ones in The Matrix. There, I said it.

Taking a 117 minute break from SKYRIM to watch BLADERUNNER FINAL CUT, my first time watching BLADERUNNER in more than five years. I will be watching in HD via HD DVD

My girlfriend has only seen Bladerunner once a few years ago (and it wasnt the final cut). She hated it....but she is willing to watch it with me and give it another try.

Just now thinking about watching Immortals, Hope for an interesting movie.

One of my friends has been searching for a cheap copy of Two Lane Blacktop for years now. He (unlike us) isn't the type to pay $30 for a Criterion DVD. I recorded it off a Starz free preview last night, and I'm gonna burn him a DVD copy. I love being the go-to movie guy at work.

Now there's a post that wouldn't have gone unsnarled-at by a certain hirsute writer a couple of years ago, when he was still policing the boards like Colonel Landa, his nostrils ever aflare for anything resembling the odor of piracy or tolerance of same.

I don't have a problem with the post, just saying.

The Empire Strikes Back is on! So that is what I'm watching.

Gonna give Super 8 a go, but I'm not expecting much.

*sigh.  I had such high hopes for that.  I thought the kids were all great though.

THE CAR starring James Brolin

Just saw RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

IMHO? Orangutans were the most photo real apes in the film, contrary to popular belief. This owed to their black skin and orange hair

I just started watching Texas Killing Fields on my PC. Looks like Worthington finally immersed himself into his character for one of his flicks.

When I first saw this post I didn't see the word TEXAS and so I thought you were somehow confusing Sam Watterson with Sam Worthington

Might watch OHMSS for the first time since 2005, might play SKYRIM

Probably both

I'm watching Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.  Iman just made a pass at Captain Kirk.  Wow, Christian Slater just popped up too.

I'm watching Romancing The Stone for the first time in 20 years. Michael Douglas is about find out that The Doobie Brothers broke up.

I'm going to rewatch CASINO ROYALE tonight, as I've spent the past week rereading the CHUD CASINO ROYALE PRE RELEASE/POST RELEASE threads, reliving the excitement for Craig's first outing as Bond

EDIT: PS: I've decided to watch OHMSS on NEW YEAR'S EVE instead

Watching Warrior on bluray

APOLLO 18, ya know, if I don't just play SKYRIM till I pass out

GasLand...it was on HBO the other night and I'm finally getting around to it. I've been meaning to see this awhile and am definitely looking forward to it.

Just watched really.

Stuart: A life backwards.  Tom Hardy and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Fucking hell.

Brutal, uncompromising, funny, touching.  Makes you weep for the childhoods some people go through,.  Hardy's performance as the alcoholic, partially disabled, Stuart is everything you'd expect from the man, unflinching but with an underlying wit and warmth.  Despite the things he does (he's a knife wielding psychopath in parts) you never feel anything but empathy for him, and as his story unravels, and you find out why he is like he is, it makes it all the more heartwrenching.

It's also the first thing I've seen Cumberbatch in.  Must watch Sherlock if it gets re-run.

Not a comfortable watch by any means (seriously, his childhood is horrific), but completely compelling, highly recommend it.

Watching Apocalypse Now (1979)... from the beautiful Three Disc Full Disclosure Edition bluray set.

Had to vist three different REDBOXs, but I finally found one with the blu-ray of Drive in stock.

Current mood: Happy smile.gif

DVR'd Freaked a few nights ago from TCM (of all places.)  I haven't seen it in almost 20 years, so I hope that it is as stupid/great as I remember it being.

Trollhunter. I've heard really good things about this.

Cosmos by Carl Sagan

Kicking myself for waiting so long to see it,   That tour of the universe in the first episode was when I knew I had to watch it all,

It is! It's such a soothing show. For something produced in 1980, it has aged magnificently.
