Yeah that's a great test and indicator of one's politcal beliefs

Apparantly I'm Left/Libratarian

Now on the more important things...I've just learned that Johnny Socko and his Flying Robot are available on Netlix!

Yes, actually alot of people really agree that it is. At the very least, compared to the majority of tests created to do the same thing, it's pretty hard to disagree.

The point is that Nazis and Neo Conservatives are very very similar in their economic and social beliefs. And that's not just cause the political compass says so.

Yes I can disagree. I think many standardized tests are crap and tend to reflect the biases of their creators.

Here's a question they left out:

If I had control of a giant robot I'd use it to defend the Earth from giant gay monsters

Yes, but most of them are worse than that particular one.

Now this is just stupid, the questions they ask are all legitimate questions pertaining to ones political leaning, gauged through the spectrum of your social and economic views.

well here is my test score.

Economic Left/Right: -0.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.46

so I am a moderate leftest libertarian, or so that test say.

I hope you guys understand that Libertarian in this case does not refer to the American Libertarian Party.

Basically the Cuban people are still screwed for the next couple of years.

shake the dust off my anarchist cook book. you don't say?
Sorry, alot of people I've encountered have made that mistake.

All the questions on that test are extreme. A legtimate questionaire would use a few questions of that nature, but also include more sublte questions to determine one' preferences.

I have the feeling most people who take that test end up being Left/Libratarian.

Back on topics, Cuba is still fucked. We should still lift the embarco, since I think we're the only country on the planet that is still actually enforcing it, and it gives the Castros a straw man to shake their fist at.

You're right. Unless things have changed, however, making such a proposal is political suicide in Florida. That Cuban community is organized, and they're not particularly big fans of anyone named Castro.

Umm, promoting American economic interests has always -always been a centerpiece of not just this nation's, but every nation's agenda. That's one of the things countries are for.

Dosen't Isreal also have an embargo on Cuba?
