I am not ashamed I spelled that incorrectly.

Jack Johnson could well be utilized as an attack on a foreign nation, if we ever devise a scheme to put an entire nation to sleep. Plus I think Eddie Vedder jammed with him at some point.

(One of my favorite criticisms I came up with was levied at Jack Johnson. I said his music was tailor made for frat boys who found Dave Matthews "too challenging").

Aveneged Sevenfold plays fast.......that's all I got.

I was saving this lil' nugget for the inevitable "Say something hideous about a band/performer you like" thread.

ETA: HOLY CRAP. If read wrong this post might insinuate I like Jack Johnson and find it offensive he jammed with Eddie Vedder. Offensive to Jack Johnson. Obviously not the case.

The guy from Live was also fine...I guess...in Fight Club.

Morrissey is the English Christ. Say no foul words against him.

I'll add on to this one, they also do nice double harmonies on guitar solos.

System of a Down has never caused any sort of mass genocide.

They're also good.

Jet announced their next album this year won't be a double-LP.

Barry Gibb's son plays guitar for Crowbar.

The Indigo Girls made a good album. Then they made that album twelve more times. Then they inspired a whole generation of lesbians with acoustic guitars to also make that same album. And then Lilith Fair happened.

The lead singer of Sublime has maintained a consistent core temperature for a while now, so good on him.

The members of Louis XIV are carbon-based. Which is good I guess...

ITunes tells me Europe's "The Final Countdown" is my most listened-to song.

Maynard James Keenan (Tool) owns his own vinyard and sells a wine that they conveniently placed in a amazing 3-D photo in their last album's booklet.

god that made me sick just typing that...

You should hold iTunes down and punch it in the stomach until it takes that back.

You can stuff things in Avril Lavigne.

I may need more than your permission, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

30 seconds to mars... their taste in eyeliner is impeccable.

Also, Jared Leto and his band on My So-Called Life covered "I Wanna Be Sedated" several years before any of the Ramones died, so I assume he's not directly responsible for their deaths.

I thought Korn's appearance on South Park was funny.

Jessica Simpson cursed the Cowboys.

I have sat here for the last two to three minutes trying to come up with something positive about Insane Clown Posse, but I think that may just be impossible. So I give up.

Insane Clown Posse make people who wear face paint cool by comparison (except that guy from the show Tap Out, he just sucks).

Someday, they will die.

where did you get the idea that they will fertilize the land? this implies that they will do something right -- which in itself is a fault. i personally believe the will create a swamp-like land.

No doubt there's a hard-working family man at the Faygo bottling plant that owes his continuing livelihood to ICP.

Hannah Montana has made Billy Ray Cyrus cool again. Life is good.

Jared Leto once choked Elijah Wood for existing.

Thus, Jared Leto must have alot of emotion inside him. Like Bruce Wayne or something.

Fallout Boy was unusually difficult in Rock Band. Nice challenge.

You can't prove that.

Boy, the Scissor Sisters put a lot of effort into their live show.

Collectively, all American Idols (as well as their competitors) have, season in and season out, given Paula Abdul something to do with her time, thus providing her with a tether to reality and preventing her from going all kinds of Margot Kidder.
System of a Down didn't slather their dicks in Icy Hot before raping my ear drums, which is more than can be said for ICP.

If you smoke a lot of dope and concentrate really hard, Creed's best song can almost be mistaken for Pearl Jam's worst.

Fergie provided "The Office" with a nice little throwaway gag (i.e. Michael Scott's ring tone being "My Humps").

In that case- the lead singer was courteous enough to die, thereby preventing future albums from being recorded.

Julia Roberts has tits. Oh wait... music...

I once rode a steel horse... But I never had the ability to see a million faces and rock them all. That's dedication, folks.

Fixed?

Gene Simmons has an oversized tongue; it's kind of freaky. He's shy about it but he'll show you if you ask him politely.

The Disturbed guy is still alive and kicking as far as I know. You're thinking of Drowning Pool methinks. "Let the bodies hit the floor", indeed!

*edit- In the case of Disturbed, they did provide that song Richard Cheese so admirably covered(the one in the DotD remake).

Paul Dukas' piano compositions don't make me want to smash a Victrola with my cane.

My asshole can compose better chamber music than that douche!

Gene Simmons' sex tape gave us a laugh.

Oops, Drowning Pool was who I was thinking of. Those shitty bands all sound the same.

Dave Mustaine is an arrogant cocksucker only 90% of the time. The other 10% he's sleeping.*

* I hope he has nightmares of Nick Menza's double bass kicks drowning out his hot ass solo.

Drowning Pool inspired my buddy to write a Weird Al-esque cover of "bodies," he called it "found my body on the bus." Greatest cover song never released.

The Jimmy Kimmel's Fucking Ben Affleck video has allowed me one brief, shining moment where I don't want to beat Josh Groban senseless with hammers.

I admire Scissor Sisters for taking disco to new and interesting places, but it's still disco.

The Dixie Chicks don't like George Bush.

Um, and apparently that Nickleback guy is REALLY nice in person.
