I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny.
Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...
Before I saw The Pillowman, and after I saw The Pillowman. I saw this last night and I...I'm still having trouble processing it. Truly the best thing I've ever seen on stage...I'll write when I can become coherent.
I know I've become kind of a broken record on this, but everyone should read or see The Pillowman. Not only is it one of the best new plays of the century, it's also funny, horrifying, and has some really insightful things to say about art and those who make art at its core. Plus, it's Martin McDonagh, who's awesome to begin with, but whose "In Bruges" is one of the must-sees of the new year.
Oh yes, not knowing anything about the play is the best way to view this. It's like an onion, peeling back the layers one...layer at a time. It's one of those plays where you want to keep watching because you WANT to know more.
